SDC # 45: Wish for the New Year

Alweer tijd voor de laatste Stampotique Designers Challenge van 2011. Wat gaat de tijd toch snel... Nellie heeft het thema voor de uitdaging gekozen: 'Wat is je wens voor het nieuwe jaar?'. Doe mee en laat ons zien wat je wensen en dromen zijn voor 2012! Let op: alleen Stampotique stempels zijn toegestaan. Ik heb mijn wensen verwerkt in twee art journal pagina's. De achtergrond is gemaakt met spray-inkt (Colorwash).

Deze kaart is mijn bijdrage voor de Stampotique Designers Challenge # 44 met thema 'Shimmer, Glimmer, Glitter & Glitz'. Voor de achtergrond heb ik hoofdzakelijk goud embossingpoeder gebruikt.

Sneeuw / Snow

Voor mijn kleinzoon heb ik deze kerstkaart gemaakt. De sneeuwvlokjes zijn stukjes papier uit een woordenboek, bedekt met een dun laagje gesso. De sneeuwpoppen zijn ingekleurd met distress-inkten Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon en Broken China. De achtergrond is geverfd met distress-inkt Pumice Stone.

Made this Christmas card for my grandson. The snowflakes are pieces of dictionary paper, covered with a thin layer of gesso. Coloured the snow family with distress inks Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon and Broken China. Painted the background with distress ink Pumice Stone.

I'm back / Ik ben terug

De afgelopen tijd was moeilijk maar ik ben weer terug in blogland! De achtergrond van deze kaart is gemaakt met vloeibare waterverf.

De achtergrond is gemaakt met zwart Colorcore Cardstock en de spinnenweb embossingfolder. Geschuurd en daarna gesponst met Distress Inkt Spiced Marmelade. De stempels zijn gestempeld met Versafine Onyx Black en ingekleurd met Spiced Marmelade.
Made the background with black Color Core Cardstock and the spider web embossingfolder. Sanded it and then coloured it with Distress Ink Spiced Marmelade. Stamped the stamps with Versafine Onyx Black and coloured them with Spiced Marmelade.

Deze kaart is mijn bijdrage voor de Crazy Amigo Challenge met thema 'Vierkantjes'. Een eenvoudige kaart al ziet hij er misschien niet zo eenvoudig uit. Slechts één soort inkt gebruikt (Distress inkt Dusty Concord), water, een penseel, een stencil van The Crafter's Workshop (mosaic squares mini) en 3 stempels van Stampotique.

This card is my entry for the Crazy Amigo Challenge with theme 'Squares'. Maybe my card looks not simple but it is very simple. Just one ink (Distress Ink Dusty Concord), water, a brush, a Crafter's Workshop stencil (mosaic squares mini) and 3 Stampotique stamps.

Nog een tag met een nieuw stempel (Mela) van Stampotique. Voor de achtergrond heb ik Distress Stains Wild Honey en Fired Brick gebruikt. De cirkels zijn gesponst met witte acrylverf. Het stempel is ingekleurd met distress inkten.

Deze tag heb ik gemaakt met de nieuwe stempels van Stampotique. Voor de achtergrond heb ik de scheerschuimtechniek gebruikt. De stempels zijn ingekleurd met distressinkten.

Het is 2 september en dus tijd om te vertellen wat 'Count my Hearts' betekent. Ik ben dol op harten en daarom gebruik ik vaak harten in mijn creaties. Art Journey Challenge # 13: Herfstkleuren / Autumn colours

Het is alweer september en tijd voor de dertiende Art Journey Challenge. Deze maand mag ik een thema kiezen en dat is geworden: HERFSTKLEUREN. Een kleurenchallenge dus.... denk aan geel, oranje, rood, bruin, groen. Je hebt 4 weken de tijd om je creatie te laten zien. De deadline is 28 september. Uit de deelnemers wordt er een willekeurige winnaar geloot die een Art Journey tegoedbon krijgt van 10 euro. It's September and time to start the 13th Art Journey Challenge. This month it’s my turn to chose a theme and I have chosen: AUTUMN COLOURS. So it's a colour challenge.... think of yellow, orange, red, brown, green. You've got 4 weeks to show us your creation. The deadline is on the 28th of September. Then one participant will be randomly selected for a 10 euro’s gift certificate to shop at Art Journey. To win this gift certificate you are required to use MAINLY ART JOURNEY STAMPS.
