SDC # 45: Wish for the New Year

Alweer tijd voor de laatste Stampotique Designers Challenge van 2011. Wat gaat de tijd toch snel... Nellie heeft het thema voor de uitdaging gekozen: 'Wat is je wens voor het nieuwe jaar?'. Doe mee en laat ons zien wat je wensen en dromen zijn voor 2012! Let op: alleen Stampotique stempels zijn toegestaan. Ik heb mijn wensen verwerkt in twee art journal pagina's. De achtergrond is gemaakt met spray-inkt (Colorwash).

SDC # 44: Shimmer, Glimmer, Glitter & Glitz

Deze kaart is mijn bijdrage voor de Stampotique Designers Challenge # 44 met thema 'Shimmer, Glimmer, Glitter & Glitz'. Voor de achtergrond heb ik hoofdzakelijk goud embossingpoeder gebruikt.
Het is de eerste challenge van de maand, dus alle stempels zijn toegestaan, maar het is natuurlijk wel leuk om Stampotique stempels te gebruiken als je die hebt. Als je meedoet kun je een cadeaubon van $30 winnen, te besteden bij Stampotique Originals!

This card is my entry for the Stampotique Designers Challenge # 44 with theme 'Shimmer, Glimmer, Glitter & Glitz'. I used a lot of golden embossingpowder for my background.

Sneeuw / Snow

Voor mijn kleinzoon heb ik deze kerstkaart gemaakt. De sneeuwvlokjes zijn stukjes papier uit een woordenboek, bedekt met een dun laagje gesso. De sneeuwpoppen zijn ingekleurd met distress-inkten Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon en Broken China. De achtergrond is geverfd met distress-inkt Pumice Stone.

Made this Christmas card for my grandson. The snowflakes are pieces of dictionary paper, covered with a thin layer of gesso. Coloured the snow family with distress inks Mustard Seed, Ripe Persimmon and Broken China. Painted the background with distress ink Pumice Stone.

Stamps I used are from Stampotique Originals: Snow Family (9222), Merry Kiss-mas! (3030).

I'm back / Ik ben terug

De afgelopen tijd was moeilijk maar ik ben weer terug in blogland! De achtergrond van deze kaart is gemaakt met vloeibare waterverf.
I had a bad time but I'm back in blogland! Made the background of this card with liquid watercolours.
